Halloween

Halloween is just around the corner, on this coming Wednesday. Unfortunately I am 28 years old and am therefore too old to go Trick or Treating... so to celebrate this huge American holiday Charles and I went to Party City to get ourselves costumes to go to a Halloween Party yesterday. We fought with the rest of the last minute costume shoppers who filled the shop and managed to settle with "Tacky Tourist" costumes. We welcomed our dinner guests with our tacky costumes and even though the actual Halloween Party was fun, Charles and I did feel rather misplaced with our comic costumes... among all of the scary or handsomely dressed men and sexy dressed women.

Some of you might remember that we went to a haunted house called Netherworld some weeks ago. What I did not tell you then was that a TV crew from the Travel Channel asked to film us during our visit... so on Friday evening we became "celebrities" on the show Halloween's Most Extreme. Charles managed to film a bit of the show with his camera when the re-run was on... check it out for yourselves. Our friends Katrin and Ryan are the ones actually walking through the haunted house and you'll see Charles and I with some other friends towards the end. (Beware of scary scenes!)



So Wednesday is the big Trick or Treating day... I have planned to go to a friend's house to be able to experience the thrill from the excited dressed up children and hand out candy. It will be a lot of fun, I can't wait! :)
