Friday!

Hey everybody!

It's Friday and in only a couple hours it will be weekend! I thought I'd write a little something on my lunch break, I was eating my lunch at my desk anyway today. I'll be leaving work a little earlier today to pick Chloe up from the airport. Charles, who is off school for three weeks, had planned to pick her up, but this week he started interning at a sports agency here in Atlanta. He had an interview at the sports agency on Monday and started working on Tuesday... he's starting with one full week now and then working 2 days a week during the fall combined with his studies. What a great opportunity!

On Monday I went to my first SWEA (an international organization for Swedish women living abroad) get-together. It was great, but at the same time kind of strange. I met many swedes in different ages and everybody speaks Swedish and talks about normal Swedish things and had Swedish "fika". I have to say that it made me feel very warm and at home... I'm definitely going to continue going to the SWEA get-togethers.

Yes, H&M is coming to Atlanta!!! I'm so excited and also a one of my German colleagues here at work... we've already decided to try to go to the grand opening in April. :)

Well, my lunch break is now over and I should try to finish some things before I leave. After picking up Chloe, we'll start the weekend with a nice easy going dinner at some place outside (if it's not too hot, even though we can always cool ourselves off with some beers) and plan our weekend of sightseeing. I'm so exicted to finally do some sightseeing in Atlanta! :)
